1961

One-Eyed Jacks

After being double-crossed and left for dead, an outlaw escapes prison and hunts down the former partner who betrayed him. Marlon Brando not only stars but also directs this brooding Western, delivering one of his most iconic performances alongside Karl Malden as the treacherous sheriff. With Katy Jurado and Ben Johnson in strong supporting roles, One-Eyed Jacks is a sweeping tale of betrayal, revenge, and redemption against the rugged backdrop of the American frontier.

1941

Topper Returns

A fun-loving young woman is offed after trading bedrooms with her wealthy friend. Her ghost seeks aid from Topper to find the manic person.

1935

When a Man's a Man

A landslide has diverted water from the Baldwin ranch to Cambert’s. With their cattle dying, Cambert refuses to let them have any water. Easterner Larry Knight takes a job with the Baldwins and he has a plan to divert the water back to the Baldwin ranch. But Phil, jealous of Kitty’s attraction to Larry, lets Cambert know of the scheme.

1966

The Shooting

This stark, atmospheric Western from director Monte Hellman follows a former bounty hunter (Warren Oates) and his companion (Will Hutchins) as they’re hired by a mysterious woman (Millie Perkins) to guide her across the desert. Their tense journey grows increasingly surreal as they encounter cryptic clues, shifting loyalties, and a deadly gunslinger (Jack Nicholson) in pursuit. With its minimalist style, psychological tension, and haunting ambiguity, The Shooting is a cult classic that redefined the Western as both existential and unsettling.

1951

Home Town Story

After losing his re-election bid, an ambitious young politician returns to his hometown and takes over the local newspaper, determined to use it as a weapon against big business. But as his crusade unfolds, he begins to realize the complicated role corporations play in everyday life. Featuring Jeffrey Lynn as the embittered newspaperman, Donald Crisp as the industrialist who challenges him, and Marilyn Monroe in one of her earliest screen appearances, Home Town Story is a sharp postwar drama about power, integrity, and redemption.
